Amazon Prime viewers 'scared to sleep alone' after watching horror The House on Mansfield Street

Forget Paranormal Activity.... this horror movie is certain to give you nightmares if you live alone.

Amazon Prime viewers have reported being left too 'scared to sleep' after watching the creepy 2018 British movie The House on Mansfield Street.

The film, directed by Richard Mansfield, follows a documentary-maker film his life when he starts to notice paranormal activity - as well as a possible demonic presence - in his new home.

Nick Greene, who is recording his relocation from London to a smaller city, starts to notice strange happenings, and it's not long before things take an especially sinister turn.

While many viewers have been raving about the film, others claim to have faced sleepless nights, saying the film has really 'freaked' them out.

In the trailer for the eerie film, it states: 'In 2015, Nick Green was making a film documenting his move to a new city.

'He never finished it.'

While settling into his new abode, Nick starts to observe odd occurrences in his apartment. And from there, things quickly begin to spiral out of control.

Whether the documentary is based on a true story or not is left for the viewer to decide.

However, Mansfield Street is a real location; a street in Marylebone, central London.

And after watching the 74-minute movie, viewers said footage kept them awake at night.

Despite having a PG-13 content rating, people on Twitter were left with mixed feeling about the movie.

One person on the social media site wrote: 'Just finished watching "The House on Mansfield Street" and it really freaked me out. Wish I wasn't sleeping alone.'
