Celebrity wedding planner David Tutera is being sued by a New York couple
A New York couple is suing their celebrity wedding planner David Tutera for abandoning them at the altar on their big day.
Hector Santana and Wendylee Perez claim the reality TV show star ruined their dream wedding and tripled the cost of their reception.
The star of 'My Fair Wedding' allegedly failed in his duties in November 2010 when Brooklyn-born Perez and her husband wed in the Dominican Republic.
'Due to the defendant’s arrogant and heartless actions, plaintiffs have been harmed personally and financially,' the pair claimed in a Manhattan lawsuit, reports the New York Daily News.
After tripling the wedding bill from $10,000 to more than $30,000,the Manhattan based party-planner Tutera, whose celebrity clients
include Elton John and Jennifer Lopez, is accused of not even providing the invitations, flowers, a DJ or the wedding cake.
