Alhaitham will be a 5-star Dendro character who is rumored to wield a sword as his weapon. The 3.4 Beta is bringing massive changes to his kit. At talent level 10, his charged attack, Rush Damage attack and Elemental burst single instance damage have been reduced dramatically.

  • The charged attack is reduced from 140 % to 112.6 %.
  • His kit has unique elemental damage, where he can teleport to a place and deal ‘rush damage’ to the enemies. The Elemental mastery damage multiplier for this ability has been reduced to 282.2% from 705.6%.
  • When he casts a burst, the damage dealt to the enemies is 218% ATK added with 437% Elemental mastery. The elemental mastery multiplayer has been drastically reduced from 437.76% to 175.1%.

The nerfs for the much-awaited Dendro sword wielder don’t stop there. His passive also took a hit in the 3.4 beta. According to sources, each point of Alhaitham’s elemental mastery will deal 0.12% damage for Elemental skill and burst. This has been reduced to 0.9%. They changed the maximum damage of the passive. Earlier the maximum damage increase was 100%, now after the nerf it’s 90%.

How is it going to affect the players?

Genshin players pre-farm their favorite characters before they get released. This saves hours or even days. The process for gathering all the necessary items to max out a character is also much longer. These nerfs would affect those players who had planned to pull for Alhaitham.

The chances of Alhaitham’s changes affecting the character’s sales are also high. Hence, these leaks would give the players ample time to review their decision to pull for the Dendro characters. All travelers should keep in mind that the character has not been out yet, and this is not a rerun. That is, a first-hand experience is still not out for the character. So, if your heart is set on getting the dashing Dendro character, no need to hold back. Go for the banner when it finally comes to the game.

Alhaitham is expected to be made available in mid-January.
