Forth Road Bridge and M74 Issues
The approach to the Forth Road Bridge will be closed again this weekend
The A90 and M90 (M9 spur) south of the crossing will be closed to all traffic from 8pm on Saturday until 6am on Monday, with the bridge itself only be open for local access.
It's to allow for the demolition of the B800 bridge between South Queensferry and Kirkliston. One more weekend of closures is to happen on November 14th/15th.
There is also bad news for motorists in the west with the planned closure of part of the Raith Interchange expected to go ahead on Monday.
The B7071 Bellshill Road, which links the junction with Hamilton and Bothwell, is due to shut for five weeks.
It's part of an ongoing major project which aims to improve the M8, M73 and M74 and shave 15 minutes off the daily commute at the Raith.
