The Rock Would Be on TRT: 339-Lb Strongman Defends Dwayne Johnson AmidstSteroid Controversy
Dwayne Johnson aka ‘The Rock’ has been the epitome of fitness and good health for many years now and he prides himself on it. The 50-year-old looks insanely fit and is sure to turn heads with his physique. But as with turning heads, comes raising eyebrows who question the feasibility of building such a body at that age. Joe Rogan and Bradley Martyn have been two such online personalities who have called him out time and again for his hidden use of steroids and misleading his fans. However, weighing in on the debate is a former World’s Strongest Man (2017) winner who believes The Rock is merely hooked to TRT. What is TRT and why does he believe such a thing? Let’s find out.
In a recent episode of The Disruptors Podcast, the British strongman made his appearance to talk about Tate–Bjornsson rivalry, bodybuilding, etc. He also touched upon the alleged steroid use controversy going around Dwayne Johnson. He believes that the Black Adam star is merely on TRT, which is actually good for his health.
Dwayne Johnson is building his strength, believed Eddie Hall
Eddie Hall, a former strongman, actor, boxer, and most recently a successful YouTuber, told the host Rob Moore, “My thoughts are (pauses)… You know I’ve been to America and I know what goes on in the medical world so to say. I would believe that The Rock would be on TRT, which is testosterone replacement therapy and that’s a very good thing to do. It’s actually very good and healthy for you. It helps you be big and strong and helps you live a long and prosperous life. I don’t know can you attack someone for bettering their life?”
Hall ending his answer with a rhetorical question was enough to clear out which side was he on. Rob Moore only touched upon the topic by citing Joe Rogan and his incessant call out to The Rock for allegedly using steroids and misleading his audience. However, Hall seemed undeterred by those remarks.

Hall continued, “I don’t see how you can. The Rock’s doing phenomenal in life. He’s got the energy, looks amazing, and performs amazingly. Why should he stop doing TRT just because someone says it’s wrong?” Another rhetorical question loudly sealed Hall’s feelings about putting the matter to rest once and for all. Although there might be others who are equally guilty, Johnson probably gets the brunt of it for his massive fame.
Dwayne Johnson’s continuing dominance at the Box Office
Dwayne Johnson didn’t build his fanbase overnight. After a successful wrestling career in WWE, which is also where he got his famous ring name, Johnson moved to the alluring world of Hollywood with The Mummy Returns. Years of hard work and training put into his movies helped him amass a huge fanbase.
Whether Dwayne Johnson acknowledges Hall’s remarks is not clear yet. But the fact remains, that the ‘Jungle Cruise’ star is killing it at the box office and his ever-growing fanbase continues to love him.
