Who Is Tyreek Hill's Wife? All About Keeta Vaccaro
Tyreek Hill put his bye week to good use when he married Keeta Vaccaro in November 2023.
The Miami Dolphins player and Vaccaro got engaged on July 4, 2021, at an Independence Day party — and his then-Kansas City Chiefs teammates were thrilled for him. Speaking to TMZ after the proposal, the wide receiver shared that he called his teammate Patrick Mahomes, who was engaged to his now-wife Brittany Mahomes at the time, and told him he was officially in the fiancé "club."
“As soon as I did it, I called up my boy Pat, like, 'I'm in the club now man, I'm in the club!' " Hill recalled. "He was pretty fired up, he was pretty turned up by that."
While Hill has been breaking records in the NFL, Vaccaro has been focused on growing her career, which includes her brand, Own Flow, and an investment company.
So, who is Tyreek Hill’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Keeta Vaccaro and her relationship with the NFL star.
She graduated from the University of Miami
In 2019, Vaccaro graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in entrepreneurship and marketing, per her LinkedIn. She posted pictures from her graduation photoshoot in December 2020, including a behind-the-scenes look at the process.
Her brother is also an NFL star
Vaccaro has three siblings, including a twin sister, but her brother, Kenny Vaccaro, is famous in his own right. Kenny was drafted by the New Orleans Saints after graduating from the University of Texas Austin in 2013 and played in the NFL for eight seasons before retiring in 2021.
Prior to his retirement, however, his sister admitted she would root for Hill over Kenny in an interview with TMZ Sports.
“I would have to go with my baby, I’m sorry!” she said when asked who she would pick to win if the two were to play in a championship game or a Super Bowl. “I support my family always, but this is family now.”
She's an entrepreneur
Vaccaro put her entrepreneurship degree to use when she founded a fitness brand called Own Flow in August 2022. Vaccaro regularly shares videos of her workouts and photos of her healthy meals on the company's Instagram page. In April 2021, she also posted on her own profile that she was working towards obtaining her pilates certification.
In January 2023, Vaccaro ventured into a new business opportunity as the co-founder of Investaccess, which helps start-ups find investors.
She and Hill shared a YouTube channel
Before she and Hill got engaged, Vaccaro ran their YouTube channel from January to June 2021. They posted nine videos together that captured everything from their road trips to family workouts to hilarious pranks they played on each other.
The couple also documented their process of buying a house together in Florida in May 2021.
“We found a house, he picked one of the houses that I chose which I’m super super excited about because I was nervous,” Vaccaro explained in the video. “We spent a lot of money and time to go see the house just because we’re in Missouri and we had to go all the way to Florida.”
Hill proposed in July 2021
In one of her videos, Vaccaro joked that Hill was already more like her husband than her boyfriend, but the athlete decided to make things official by popping the question on July 4, 2021.
The couple were organizing a July 4th party with a planner, but Hill hijacked the process, secretly telling the planner his own ideas for how he would pop the question, he told TMZ Sports.
According to Vaccaro, the proposal was a complete surprise. “I didn’t know he was going to propose to me in this time frame, we’d been talking about it for a long time — getting engaged and married — but it was a surprise to me,” she said. “My family was here so he really put it all together, it was really sweet.”
Hill admitted that he’d been planning the proposal — which he described as “perfect” — for a while and spoke to Vaccaro’s mom and sister about picking the right date and ring.
As for the bling, Hill boasted that it had more diamonds than his Super Bowl ring, joking that he “made sure” it was the biggest rock in the house.
She and Hill got married in November 2023
Per court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Hill and Vaccaro wed on Nov. 8, 2023, in Travis County, Texas. The ceremony took place during the Dolphins’ bye, as Hill had just one week free during the middle of the NFL season to get married.
He told reporters that the decision to get married then was spontaneous, but he felt it was "perfect timing" after a two-year engagement.
"I was spending a lot of time with my kids, spending a lot of time with her, and the conversation just came up," he said. "I was like, 'Babe, we've been engaged so long, are you ready to tie the knot?' "
Hill also hinted that the pair want to have a more formal ceremony later on, but still plan to keep it small.
She had a special song made for Hill
Vaccaro surprised Hill with a sweet custom song she had made by Songfinch, a platform that creates original songs written by professional musicians.
"Our love so sweet, you make me complete," the singer croons. "I can never be without you, boy. Tyreek. Ty baby. You're my ride or die."
At first, Hill didn't realize the song was about them, but upon hearing his name, he turned to Vaccaro and said, "Hold on, hold on, pause this. I heard Tyreek, baby. Some s---. Who made this?"
"I got it made," Vaccaro responded. "Baby, are you just realizing it?"
Vaccaro played the song again and Hill started getting emotional as the lyrics continued, "You're my soulmate, you're my best friend. I love you more than anything. My twin flame. You know I would do anything for you, baby. Just to keep you smiling."
Hill then turned to Vaccaro and asked if she was trying to make him cry, to which she responded, "Yes, we need the tears."
A fire damaged her and Hill's home in January 2024
Hill and Vaccaro's home in Florida caught fire on Jan. 3, 2024. According to local fire officials, the fire was started by a child playing with a cigarette lighter.
“No one was injured No. 1, no pets, so for that, we’re very grateful,” Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told AP. “Thankfully, the fire was contained to a limited area in the home. There’ll be some smoke and water damage."
